Banana Leaf Malaysian Cuisine is seeking a F/T Chef
Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent
Wage: $34.62~$36.00/hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
Number of Positions: 1
4% vacation pay
Extended health advantages and dental care after 6 months of probation

Job Duties:
Supervise activities of cooks and other kitchen staff
Create menus and ensure that food meets quality standards
Direct food preparation and cooking activities
Participate in recruiting process
Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
Determine food requirements and estimate costs of supplies and labour
Maintain the records of inventory, food costs, sales and consumption
Prepare and cook food on a regular basis

Job requirements:
Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
Education: Completion of secondary school is required
