FedEx Canada is hiring a Courier-3 based out of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. This is a full time, regular position requiring an interview.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route, to check all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service, and to provide related customer service functions.

Responsibilities
Pick up and deliver packages courteously and efficiently along an assigned route
Verify shipments to confirm they conform to Federal Express Canada features of service
Provide customer service functions directly in the field
Handle packages weighing up to 70 lbs and manoeuvre items up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment
Maintain compliance with Canadian Customs regulations and FedEx operational standards
Manage time effectively to complete all deliveries and pick-ups within schedule
Adapt to versatile scheduling, including varying shifts and holidays as required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High school diploma or educational equivalent




Must possess a valid driver's licence and have a good driving record (two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months)
Ability to lift 70 lbs and to manoeuvre any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
One (1) year customer-oriented business experience preferred
Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Valuable time management and organizational skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment
Willingness to be adaptable and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs

High school diploma or educational equivalent; valid driver's licence with good driving record; ability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre up to 150 lbs with equipment; one year customer-oriented experience preferred; must pass pre-placement driver assessment.
