St. Francis Xavier Parish in Stoney Creek is seeking a part time Housekeeper from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (approx. 24 hours/week). Reporting to the Parish Priest, this position offers a competitive rate of pay, health and dental perks, and a pension plan, and requires a commitment to working the outlined hours, with some flexibility when needed to prepare occasional additional meals (e.g., for special events or guests).

Primary Responsibilities
Prepare dinner (three meals/week) for Parish Priest, including vegetarian options
Wash and dry dishes
Clean rectory areas, including hallways and rooms
Perform seasonal and deep cleaning tasks
Perform laundry for priests and seminarian (including bedsheets and albs)
Prepare and maintain the guestroom as needed





Requirements
Education: high school or equivalent
Well develop culinary skills; ability to prepare regular meals with a vegetarian option
Ability to work well with others
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
The successful candidate will be required to obtain the Ontario Food Handler Certificate (reimbursed by The Diocese) or provide proof of current certification.
