Elevate the safety culture as an EHS Advisor at Aecon, driving initiatives on the Arctic Over the Horizon Radar Project. This role is crucial for national defense project success.
As part of Aecon’s collaboration with Pomerleau and Stantec, you'll implement health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure project integrity. Your responsibility includes training, inspections, and coordination of safety initiatives, reporting to the EHS Director while contributing to critical infrastructure advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety orientations for employees and stakeholders
• Develop and conduct training for safety protocols
• Execute workplace inspections and behavioral safety observations




• Prepare and execute emergency response plans
• Assist with external safety audits and reports
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in a safety role within construction
• Solid familiarity with industry regulations and the WSIB
• Excellent organizational and stress management skills
• Self-motivated team player with proactive tendencies
• Driver’s license required; travel to project sites necessary
