In this contract role, you'll provide leadership to nursing personnel and assist with quality care, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Long Term Care standards. You'll be responsible for administering medications, performing assessments, and developing individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Your robust communication skills will be essential for effective collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead nursing teams to deliver exceptional resident care
• Administer medications and manage drug security procedures
• Complete individualized plans for each resident
• Communicate effectively with families and team members
• Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
• Two years' experience in long-term care preferred
