Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng.) – Development ProjectsLocation: GTA / OntarioCompensation: Up to $125,000 base (commensurate with experience)Travel will be expected: Ontario, Nova Scotia & New BrunswickAbout the RoleWe are seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng.) with 5–7 years of experience to lead the design, coordination, and stamping of mechanical systems for residential and mixed-use development projects. This role is hands-on and accountable, requiring strong technical judgment, code knowledge, and experience working through municipal approvals.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering compliant, constructible mechanical designs while coordinating closely with architects, structural engineers, electrical consultants, and development teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and engineer mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection for low- to mid-rise residential and mixed-use projectsReview, sign, and stamp mechanical drawings and documents in accordance with provincial regulationsEnsure designs comply with OBC, ASHRAE, CSA, NFPA, and applicable municipal standardsPrepare and sign Schedule 1 / Schedule B documents as requiredCoordinate with internal teams and external consultants to resolve design and constructability issuesRespond to municipal plan review comments, RFIs,
