Join Ausenco as a Mechanical Designer in our Vancouver office, focusing on creative design in piping and equipment. Collaborate on complex projects with a commitment to quality and sustainability.
This role is ideal for current graduates or applicants with up to 3 years of experience in mechanical or piping design. You will prepare 2D and 3D models, produce drawings, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success. Your role will directly contribute to the growth and effectiveness of our engineering solutions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce flow sheets and piping diagrams accurately
• Create high-level 2D and 3D models of equipment
• Coordinate designs with various disciplines
• Organize technical aspects of projects efficiently
• Maintain consistent drafting standards for quality
Requirements:
• Maximum 3 years relevant experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D
• Knowledge of ASME and CSA Codes
• Design experience in minerals and metals is a plus
• Familiarity with SmartPlant and P&ID; valued
