Be a vital part of Unison Health as a Community Health Physician, focusing on primary care for youth at the Oakwood-Vaughan site. You will provide essential health services in a supportive, inclusive setting.
This part-time role, requiring 14 hours weekly, demands solid clinical and interpersonal abilities. You'll work collaboratively with various health specialists to deliver health services tailored to the unique needs of young individuals. Your experience in community care and dedication to harm reduction will contribute to our shared goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver primary and specialized youth care
• Conduct health education and promotion initiatives
• Participate in multidisciplinary team efforts
• Handle reproductive health procedures and follow-ups
• Manage care for clients in need of abortion services
Requirements:
• Valid medical license in good standing
• Background in community-focused care
• Awareness of health inequalities
• Availability for one evening shift weekly
• Commitment to youth and LGBTQ2IA+ inclusivity
