About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to join its global co-directorate structure. The successful candidate will be a key driver of the organization's success, collaborating closely with the existing Co-Director to ensure operational excellence, strategic vision, and financial stewardship. This leadership role demands a visionary leader with a passion for global impact, a heart for service, and a commitment to the values of the organization. The Executive Director will be responsible for strategic alignment, team-oriented leadership, networking, fundraising, governance, and team leadership. They must be a faithful Christian leader, spiritually mature, and courageous in the pursuit of justice,
with a proven track record in leading complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should possess a Master's degree in a relevant discipline and have a minimum of 10 years' of senior executive leadership experience in the non-profit sector, preferably in humanitarian, international development, or disaster response settings. Key competencies include strong financial acumen, outstanding relationship cultivation skills, and a deep understanding of strategic planning, organizational culture, and governance models. The role requires an inspiring communicator, a systems-thinker, and a relationship-builder who is adept at navigating governance structures and aligning diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Boards of Directors, multi-country teams, and a robust understanding of the global NGO landscape. While overseas field experience is ideal, a willingness to learn and engage with fieldwork is essential. The Executive Director must also have a strong understanding of and support for the Reformed Christian faith and values of the organization.
