In this key role, you will be tasked with financial oversight for Pacheedaht First Nation, reporting to the Band Manager. Your expertise will guide financial decision-making, ensuring that the community meets its fiscal responsibilities and nurtures its progressive governance. You will oversee the finance team in delivering transparent financial insights and support to Chief and Council.
Key Responsibilities:
• Present financial reports to leadership and Council meetings
• Develop multi-year financial forecasts aligned with community goals
• Ensure compliance with grant and funding agreements




• Directly mentor and manage the finance team
• Implement process improvements and automation initiatives
Requirements:
• CPA designation required
• Minimum of 8 years finance experience
• Leadership experience in public or Indigenous finance contexts
• Familiarity with CI Funding agreements
• Solid skills in financial analysis and reporting
