The Centre for Trades and Technologies is hiring a Term Certain Instructor for the Heavy Equipment Technician program. This position requires a strong communicator with Red Seal Certification and a minimum of five years in the industry. You will collaborate with faculty, develop lesson plans, conduct assessments, and provide mentorship while ensuring a secure learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver instruction on heavy equipment repair and maintenance
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials
• Supervise practical tasks in engine diagnostics and system repairs




• Monitor student progress and provide feedback
• Promote shop safety standards and organized learning
Requirements:
• Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience preferred
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and technologies
• Robust communication and organizational skills
