Be an integral part of Groves Memorial Community Hospital's Emergency Department as a Physician in Fergus, Ontario. This position supports versatile scheduling and is welcoming for full-time or part time commitments.
As an Emergency Department Physician, you'll see up to 80 patients a day and will work alongside a team-oriented team of professionals. The hospital's facilities ensure you have access to X-ray, Ultrasound, and more, which enhances patient care. In addition, there are mentorship opportunities available through McMaster University.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver emergency care to diverse patients
• Participate in teaching initiatives at the medical school
• Engage in an ED mentorship program with funding support




• Support patients through various medical emergencies
• Collaborate with local specialists for best care
Requirements:
• Required certifications: ACLS and ATLS
• NRP/PALS are encouraged but not mandatory
• Must be equipped for rural Emergency Medicine
• Valid CPSO and OHIP billing numbers required
• Previous Ontario ED hospital experience restrictions apply
