Covenant House is hiring a full time Custodian in Toronto to ensure cleanliness and sanitation in their facilities. This role involves maintaining common areas, washrooms, and offices, working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
As a Custodian, you will serve a meaningful purpose in supporting youth by keeping a hygienic setting at Covenant House. The role requires general housekeeping expertise and adherence to COVID safety standards. Key skills include cleaning techniques, a Grade 12 education, and the capacity to lift and manage cleaning equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, bedrooms, and offices
• High-touch cleaning of common areas and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and lunch areas




• Water plants and report repair needs
• Complete daily routine charts and attend team meetings
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemicals
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and manage stair flights
• Familiarity with WHMIS and basic computer skills
• Reliable weekday availability from Monday to Friday
