This role, reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, provides operational leadership for the Engineering Division. Your responsibilities encompass guiding engineering services, utility planning, and capital project delivery among a multidisciplinary team. With significant infrastructure projects ongoing, your expertise will directly influence the City's long-term plans and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Engineering Division functions and project delivery
• Manage construction and commissioning of municipal infrastructure
• Develop and administer departmental budgets and plans




• Collaborate with the Public Works Manager on strategic priorities
• Monitor consultant performance and project progression
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• P.Eng. registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC
• 10+ years of engineering experience including 5 in leadership
• Expertise in municipal project management and funding
• Robust communication and organizational skills
