Lead the UBC Arts Co-op Program as a Co-op Education Manager in a hybrid role. Oversee student development and career advising while enhancing workplace learning experiences. At UBC, the Co-op Education Manager plays a vital role in managing the Arts Co-op Program.
This position requires supporting students through their co-op journey, while maintaining connections with diverse employers. You'll ensure student preparedness, foster career exploration, and enhance engagement in the workforce. Key Responsibilities:
- Advise and coach students on career opportunities
- Conduct site visits and evaluate co-op placements
- Design and facilitate pre-employment training workshops
- Build and maintain relationships with employers and alumni
- Contribute to strategic planning and program evaluation Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline
- Minimum four years of related experience
- Robust communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Ability to travel as needed Enhance career development for students through effective advising and robust partnerships in the UBC Arts Co-op Program.
