In this part time role, you will directly support the technical execution of live broadcasts at Global News Toronto. Reporting to the Manager of Broadcast Operations, your strong attention to detail and technical skills will ensure the smooth operation of our broadcasting systems. This position requires flexibility for varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor the MOSART control room system
• Manage Maestro and ORAD system controls
• Operate Telemetrics robotic cameras for broadcasts
• Perform routine checks on studio equipment and systems
• Ensure quality control for programming airing on servers
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in a relevant field
• 2+ years of experience in a control room setting
• Proficiency with newsroom and broadcast systems
• Strong technical grasp of lighting and audio systems
• Effective teamwork and communication skills
