Join EMC as a Fleet Support Technician, ensuring vehicle readiness and safety for effective patient care delivery. This role requires a proactive approach in maintaining the fleet.
Reporting directly to the Manager of Fleet & Physical Resources, your responsibilities will encompass light mechanical repairs and overseeing facility maintenance at Ambulance Base Stations. You will be integral in ensuring the fleet is stocked and prepared according to established protocols. Your attention to cleanliness and adherence to decontamination procedures is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct light mechanical repairs and service
• Ensure fleet vehicles are continuously stocked and operational
• Perform facility maintenance including cleaning and repairs
• Carry out deep cleans of the fleet center regularly
• Engage in on-call duties for the fleet as required
Requirements:
• High school diploma (Grade 12)
• Valid WHMIS Class 4 License is a must
• First Aid certification preferred
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• Ability to make swift, effective decisions
