In this role, located within the Shared Services Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing insightful cost analysis and automation strategies for cloud operations. You will greatly impact financial decisions and cloud architecture by driving efficiency through advanced tooling and AI integration. Your experience in financial operations will fill a critical gap in our financial management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain tagging hygiene and cost allocation across cloud deployments
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implementations
• Automate processes for routine financial activities
• Improve accuracy of budget forecasting capabilities
• Monitor cloud costs and recommend savings plans
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in cloud platform engineering with cost focus
• Deep understanding of AWS billing structures and tagging
• Experience with FinOps platforms like Finout or Apptio
• Coding skills in Python or similar scripting languages
