Become a part of ILSC-Vancouver as a Substitute ESL Teacher for adult English language learners in hybrid classrooms. This on-call position operates between 8:30 am and 5:15 pm, Monday to Friday.
This role allows you to deliver impactful lessons based on curriculum prepared by the lead teacher, adapting to the needs of adult learners. Candidates need a TESOL certification from a Canadian-approved institution and must be eligible to work in Canada. Your ability to manage technology will enhance classroom experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lessons utilizing diverse materials and tech
• Prepare transition notes for the main teacher
• Keep consistent and accurate attendance records
• Submit attendance into the computerized system
• Complete other duties as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
• TESOL certification from a Canadian-approved body
• Familiarity with online learning tools
• Proficiency in English communication
• Ability to work independently
