As part of the Financial Services team, you will engage in delivering effective accounts payable processing for departments focused on Environmental or Community Planning. Your responsibilities will include invoice processing, payroll verification, and vendor liaison, all while utilizing your accounting knowledge to maintain compliance with internal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process online accounts payable transactions efficiently
• Review accuracy of transactions and maintain records
• Manage accounting tasks for bi-weekly payroll processes




• Liaise with vendors on payment and reporting issues
• Ensure compliance with Regional Purchasing and Payment by-laws
Requirements:
• Completion of a Post Secondary Accounting Certificate/Diploma
• Two years of related accounting experience required
• Familiarity with ERP systems for accounts payable
• Competence in MS Office and financial reporting tools
• Excellent communication and adaptability skills
