Halton Children’s Aid Society is seeking two regular and two temporary Community Child Protection Workers, supporting families effectively. Ideal candidates will hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a human services discipline, alongside a minimum of three years relevant experience. Robust communication skills and conflict resolution abilities are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage complex child protection cases
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and agencies
• Write clear, concise reports for documentation




• Implement crisis intervention strategies effectively
• Uphold principles of equity and inclusion in all practices
Requirements:
• MSW or BSW preferred; equivalent degrees considered
• Minimum three years experience in child welfare
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
• Solid understanding of anti-oppressive practices
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact
