Join the Edmonton Police Service as a Routine Disclosure Clerk in the Information and Privacy Unit. Deliver exemplary customer service while processing police file requests accurately.
This temporary full-time position is crucial for ensuring access to information complies with the Access to Information Act (ATIA). You will need solid interpersonal skills and at least two years of experience in word or data processing in an office setting. Familiarity with databases such as NicheUA and CPIC is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process police file requests based on complexity and clarity
• Conduct record searches using specialized databases
• Respond to inquiries from citizens and stakeholders




• Determine information to be released or withheld
• Manage collections and processing of request fees
Requirements:
• Completion of twelfth school grade with business subjects
• Minimum of two years' experience in data entry or processing
• Knowledge of the Access to Information Act
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
