Accountivity is hiring!Job Title: Senior Accounting ManagerLocation: Peel Region, ONJob Type: PermanentSalary: $90,000-$100,000/yearWork Model: In OfficeThis posting is for an existing vacancy.Our client inPeel Region, ONis actively looking for aSenior Accounting Managerto join their team.Position Description:Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, including annual budgets, monthly financial statements, year-end financials, tax returns, and audit deliverables.Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and oversee audit activities to ensure an unqualified audit opinion.Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for year-end audits.Review and approve General Ledger activity, P&L statements, balance sheets, overhead accounts, and month-end close reporting.Prepare SPI and end-of-month (EOM) reports.Cash management & Banking functions including AP & AR functionsMonitor daily bank positions for both Canadian and U.S.



accounts.Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity and funds availability.Act as the primary interface with lenders and maintain strong banking relationships.Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets and manage financial and operational risk.Review and approve all insurance coverage and employee benefits programs.Review and oversee GST, HST, QST, IFTA, WCB, and T4 filings and remittances.Ensure compliance with all applicable financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.Oversee internal processes related to current orders and deliveries.Register sales to ensure title and ownership security, including PPSA compliance.Approve purchase orders and collaborate with Accounts Receivable on collectionsMaintain positive, professional relationships with banks, auditors, attorneys, shareholders, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.If you meet the above qualifications, please submit your resume.
