As a Metallurgical Engineer in failure analysis, you will report to the Metallurgical investigation manager. This role requires you to apply materials science principles to investigate and characterize damaged engine parts. Your expertise in failure analysis and hands-on knowledge will be key to delivering results effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough metallurgical investigations of engine hardware • Perform visual and microscopic examinations for analysis • Prepare detailed reports with findings and evidence • Manage and review outsourced investigations effectively • Collaborate with internal teams to meet investigation timelines
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in materials engineering or equivalent • Experience in failure analysis and microscopy • Knowledge of material degradation mechanisms • Robust teamwork and communication skills • Fluent in English for technical documentation
