As an MRI Technologist at Akumin, your primary responsibility is to guarantee patient safety while executing impressive MR imaging. You will communicate effectively with Radiologists and team members while occasionally training recent staff. This position is vital for delivering diagnostic excellence and enhancing team performance on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-screening for contraindications and ensure patient safety
• Operate multiple MR systems for high-quality diagnostic images
• Address concerns and resolve conflicts with effective communication




• Train and orient new technologists and MR assistants
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Registered Technologist by ARRT, NMTCB or ARMDS
• Active MR registration with 3 months MRI clinical experience
• State license as a Radiologic or Magnetic Resonance Technologist
• CPR certification, BLS upon hire
