Job Description
The Junior Foreman supports the Foreman.
Lead the dock crew to safely unload and load linehaul and city equipment to meet service targets.
Lead on safety and compliance to create a secure work culture and adherence to processes.
Operate a forklift and perform some manual work.
Conduct daily quality task audits and report any gaps.
Report daily on any equipment issues with forklifts and hand jacks.
Report daily on any near misses.
Provide leadership, able to mentor and guide the crew.
Cover Foreman shifts at short notice, including vacation days.

Qualifications
Knowledge of Winnipeg and surrounding rural towns to plan delivery runs.
Leadership skills to clearly set expectations and assign tasks with company safety and service targets in mind.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including late evenings, early mornings, weekends, with short notice.
Willingness to learn to run the AM dock.
Ability to train current hires.
