This full time role provides strategic oversight for various child welfare initiatives and youth development programs. You will engage with member Nations and work alongside Anishinaabe and Dakota Knowledge Keepers to shape culturally relevant services. Your focus on policies will help address systemic barriers affecting First Nations communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify systemic barriers and promote cultural healing • Develop strategies for effective service delivery • Oversee programs like Youth Services and Family Violence Prevention • Cultivate partnerships with Indigenous and governmental organizations • Utilize evaluation methods to enhance program outcomes
Requirements: • Graduate degree in relevant fields such as Public Policy • 7–10 years of progressive child welfare leadership • Thorough knowledge of First Nations challenges and policies • Experience in systems transformation and community engagement • Speaking Anishinaabe or Dakota is a plus
