The District of Kent, located in the picturesque Eastern Fraser Valley, is offering several exciting opportunities in our Recreation, Culture & Projects Department. With the upcoming Grand Opening (September 2026) of the Lets’Emot Regional Recreation and Aquatic Centre (LRRAC), we are looking to assemble a energetic team to deliver exceptional services to our region. This amazing current facility expands our existing recreation centre and features an 8-lane pool, lazy river, steam room, sauna, and hot tub.

We are seeking a positive, energetic, self‑motivated, and team‑oriented Part‑Time Customer Service Representative to join us. Reporting to the Recreation Facilities Clerk, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from meeting and greeting the public, handling recreation‑based questions, assisting with processing manual and/or computerized school, public and user group programs, facility bookings and registrations, reconciling cash sheets,



and responding to the telephone while assisting others in a busy multi‑task environment.

Required qualifications:
Grade 12, supplemented by administrative courses or other related training and/or experience;
General knowledge of the sport, fitness and recreation industry;
General knowledge of basic mathematical calculations;
Competency in Word, PerfectMind, graphics programs, and website searches is an asset;
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Pay and benefits for this bargaining unit position are in accordance with the Collective Agreement, CUPE Local 458. The 2025 post‑probationary wage rate for this position is $27.11 per hour. This part‑time position may also include extended health benefits and participation in the Municipal Pension Plan (MPP), in accordance with the policies of the advantages provider and the MPP.
