In this hands-on position at e-STORAGE, which is part of Canadian Solar Inc., you will support the entire lifecycle of Battery Energy Storage System projects. You are expected to provide actionable EHS guidance, conduct safety audits, and foster a positive safety culture, ensuring that all project activities align with local and federal regulatory requirements and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead EHS initiatives for BESS projects across Ontario
• Deliver EHS guidance for compliance and risk management
• Review and create EHS plans, including hazard analyses




• Conduct periodic inspections and improve safety standards
• Support incident investigations with corrective action strategies
Requirements:
• Five years of relevant EHS experience in project settings
• Education or training in safety management or similar fields
• Advanced knowledge of Ontario's occupational health legislation
• Certification in health and safety preferred
• Flexibility to travel to various project sites
