Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst with robust Insurance domain knowledge and experience in gathering and analyzing Business Requirements. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to analyze data, identify business needs, and support reporting and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
Perform data analysis to support business decisions and operational improvements.
Create functional requirement documents (FRD), business requirement documents (BRD), and data mapping documents.
Analyze insurance-related data such as claims, policy, underwriting, billing, and customer information.
Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using reporting tools.
Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Perform data validation, data quality checks, and reconciliation activities.
Support UAT testing and ensure business requirements are met.
Identify trends, patterns,



and opportunities for process improvement.
Communicate insights and findings to business stakeholders clearly.

Required Skills
Strong experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst.
Hands-on experience in Insurance domain projects.
Valuable understanding of Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting, or Billing processes.
Experience in gathering and documenting Business Requirements.
Robust SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
Experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
Knowledge of data analysis, data mapping, and reporting concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Knowledge of ETL/Data Warehousing concepts.
Experience with Jira or similar tools.
Exposure to Python or SAS is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.

Nice to Have

Certifications in Data Analytics or Business Analysis.
