At Sushi Nami Royale, we are dedicated to delivering the finest Japanese dining experience and offering authentic, high-quality sushi.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and direct sushi preparation and overall kitchen activities, ensuring consistency and high standards of Japanese cuisine.
Consult with customers regarding special celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, and private dining events, and design customized sushi menus.
Plan seasonal sushi menus and ensure all dishes meet freshness, presentation, and food safety standards.
Estimate requirements for fresh seafood, specialty ingredients (e.g., wasabi, nori, rice), and forecast labour costs during peak service hours.
Supervise activities of cooks and kitchen helpers, providing training on sushi techniques, hygiene practices, and plating standards.
Arrange for purchase and maintenance of sushi-specific equipment such as sushi display cases, rice cookers, and qualified-grade knives.
Participate in and assist with the recruitment and training of cooks and kitchen helpers to maintain service quality.
Prepare signature sushi dishes, omakase courses, and specialty rolls for both daily service and special guests.





Requirements
Restaurant experience is a plus.
Positive knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques.
Ability to work both quick and accurately; team spirit.
Availability to work during business hours, including weekends and evenings.
Flexibility to take on various shifts.

Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
