Requirements
Canadian resident, local to the job area, and eligible to work in Canada
Enjoy caring for seniors
Positive sense of humour
Successfully complete a Criminal Background Check including Vulnerable Sector (copy of Criminal Record Check required)




Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR

Responsibilities
Provide companionship and social stimulation
Initiate and promote physical activity at any level
Plan, prepare and serve meals, as needed
Encourage clients to perform personal care and assist as needed
Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes and laundry
Accompany clients on outings such as doctor appointments or activities for mental and physical stimulation

COVID-19 Considerations

All caregivers are required to wear a mask while with a client. Personal protective equipment is provided. All caregivers must be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations and provide proof of vaccination.
