Join Strides Toronto as a full-time Individual and Family Therapist, focusing on infant mental health. Use your expertise in counseling to help children and families thrive through creative services.
This position calls for a skilled therapist to provide evidence-informed psychotherapy in a cooperative, client-centered setting. You will address severe social and emotional issues faced by infants, children, and families, creating sustainable treatment plans that foster emotional well-being. In addition to individual therapy, you will conduct assessments and engage stakeholders, while crisis intervention skills will be crucial in maintaining safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver psychotherapy and counseling services
• Coordinate care with internal and external partners




• Document therapeutic interactions in client records
• Conduct assessments for treatment planning
• Facilitate group therapy sessions when required
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Counseling or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant counseling experience
• Registration with appropriate regulatory body
• Knowledge of treatment modalities like CBT and DBT
