Become a part time Housekeeper at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Stoney Creek. Excelling in culinary preparation and cleaning will support the daily functions of the rectory.
This role offers a commitment of approximately 24 hours per week, specifically on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 AM to 6:30 PM. You will prepare meals for the Parish Priest and maintain cleanliness in various areas of the rectory. Flexibility is appreciated for any additional meal preparations around special events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare three meals weekly for the Parish Priest, including vegetarian
• Wash and dry dishes efficiently post meal service
• Clean and organize hallways and all rectory areas
• Conduct regular seasonal and deep cleaning




• Perform laundry duties for priests and maintain the guestroom
Requirements:
• High school level education is required
• Solid culinary expertise, particularly with vegetarian options
• Collaborate and interact well within the team
• Ability to work independently and follow directives
• Obtain Ontario Food Handler Certificate or provide current proof
