Jardeg is recruiting for an experienced Overhead Crane Operator to support ongoing industrial construction activities. The ideal candidate will operate overhead cranes with lifting capacities of 5 to 50 tonnes, ensuring adherence to site procedures and safety regulations. Your expertise in crane operations, alongside effective communication with riggers, will be essential in maintaining project efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate overhead cranes per safety and site procedures
• Conduct inspections ensuring secure equipment operation
• Lift, move, position, and place heavy materials
• Communicate effectively with riggers and signal personnel
• Report maintenance needs during routine checks
Requirements:
• Valid Overhead Crane Operator certification
• 2+ years of crane operating experience in construction
• Solid grasp of rigging principles and load charts
• Familiarity with OH&S; regulations
• Successful completion of a Pre-Access Drug Test
