Our client, a leading manufacturing organization is looking to hire a Procurement & Supply Chain Lead to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement activities for direct and indirect materials.
Source, qualify, and manage suppliers to ensure cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.
Lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contracts, and performance improvement initiatives.
Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Supply Chain Planning
Lead materials planning, inventory management, and replenishment activities.
Support demand forecasting, S&OP; processes, and production planning.
Analyze supply trends to prevent shortages and optimize inventory levels.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to improve planning accuracy.
Manufacturing & Leadership Support
Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and suppliers to ensure material availability and production readiness.
Support recent product launches, engineering changes, and component transitions.
Mentor purchasing team members and improve procurement processes and best practices.
Monitor key metrics including supplier performance, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, and delivery performance.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
8+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or materials management.
Experience in electronics manufacturing, hardware, industrial technology, or similar environments.
Strong experience with global suppliers, materials planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
Experience leading projects, mentoring teams, and driving process improvements.
Proficiency with MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
