Be an integral part of patient care at UHN as a Pharmacy Technician. Based at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, your focus will be on compounding and dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately.
This temporary full-time role requires you to manage various pharmacy tasks including updating patient information and ensuring medication supplies are adequate. You'll also assist in training initiatives and complete essential documentation, all while working in a supportive healthcare team workplace at Canada's leading hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute technical aspects of prescription preparation and compounding
• Manage medication supply replenishment for assigned pharmacy areas
• Maintain updated patient records in the pharmacy system
• Finish required documentation and reporting on time
• Support staff and patient training sessions actively
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician (Part A) in valuable standing
• Two years of related practical experience preferred
• Robust communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to operate under minimal supervision and prioritize tasks
