Be a catalyst for change at Ontario Tech by joining the Student Advocacy Advisory Committee (SAAC). Work collaboratively with fellow students and OTSU executives to ensure student voices are heard.
The SAAC is looking for five Students-at-Large who are committed to representing their faculty's concerns. This role encompasses providing feedback, advising on policies, and engaging in discussions that shape the student experience. With this chance, you'll not only enhance your leadership skills but also build lasting relationships with peers who share your passion for advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address student issues from your faculty perspective
• Advise OTSU on advocacy priorities
• Contribute to policy recommendations
• Engage in developing current programs and campaigns
• Maintain open lines of communication with peers
