As a Senior Structural Engineer (PE), you’ll actively shape and oversee the execution of detailed engineering designs. This role involves balancing creative design software with foundational engineering principles. With an emphasis on bulk material handling and complex industrial structures, you will not only design but also ensure all work meets rigorous quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as design authority for complex structural systems • Perform structural analysis and oversee code compliance • Ensure stringent QA/QC processes for all projects • Partner with teams to translate designs into AutoCAD • Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineers
Requirements: • PE license in Ohio or ability to obtain via comity • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering • Minimum of 4 years in heavy industrial structure design • In-depth knowledge of AISC steel design • Comfortable using STAAD.Pro and manual calculations
