Trinity Christian School is hiring a Temporary, Part time Elementary PE Teacher for a recent role starting August 21, 2026. This position is focused on developing students’ physical health and engagement in a supportive setting.
This 0.5 FTE assignment will last until June 30, 2027, or until the return of the current teacher. You will follow Alberta Education guidelines to plan lessons, engage students, and evaluate their physical education progress. Collaboration with colleagues to enhance student learning and incorporating feedback from parents are key aspects of this teaching role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute PE curriculum objectives
• Adjust teaching methods to accommodate varying student needs
• Organize comprehensive physical activities and assessments




• Maintain detailed records of student evaluations
• Facilitate meetings to discuss student progress
Requirements:
• Alberta Teaching Certificate required
• Experience with elementary education curriculum
• Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector)
• Commitment to Christian values in education
• Strong ability to communicate and build rapport
