The press operator in the printing department will operate a state‑of‑the‑art, automated 10‑color flexographic printing press daily. The main responsibility is to ensure settings and adjustments of the press to provide prints that meet customer requirements and high‑quality standards. The position works in an environment governed by HACCP and food safety standards with rigorous work procedures.
Key Functions
Read the work order, note the specific features, check availability of necessary equipment, and coordinate work with assistants.
Ensure installation of equipment in the press (anilox, fountains, blades, hoses, cylinders, ink).
Adjust and configure the settings of the printing press.
Make necessary adjustments according to parameters and specific features of the work order.
Ensure ink balancing (viscosity and other parameters)
throughout the printing process.
Monitor quality of the printed film according to established standards.
Keep work workplace clean, protected, and organized at all times.
Qualifications
Experience: minimum of 3 to 5 years as an operator in the printing industry or related training.

Schedule: 3‑2‑2‑3 (36‑48 hours per week) night shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.; paid 12 hours per day including two 15‑minute breaks and one 30‑minute lunch break.
$2.00 per hour premium for night shift and $1.50 for weekend work (Saturday‑Sunday).
Overtime paid when working 48 hours (8 hours at time and a half).
