Covenant House Vancouver is looking for a Team Leader to supervise Youth Workers and enhance the Crisis Program for vulnerable youth. In this impactful position, you'll help create a nurturing setting that supports youth in crisis while guiding staff through complex interactions. Your role is to ensure that care includes effective crisis management and emotional support strategies for everyone involved.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct the intake and support process for youth
• Model and promote trauma-informed care approaches
• Lead crisis intervention and emotional regulation efforts
• Conduct team meetings for clear communication
• Supervise staff and encourage career development
Requirements:
• Degree in social services or equivalent experience
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of issues affecting marginalized youth
• Solid leadership and empathy in crisis situations
• Ability to document and maintain accurate records
