As the Director of Business Development & Member Engagement, you will report directly to the President & CEO. This senior role emphasizes strategic business development and member outreach, driving membership growth and sustainable revenue. Engage senior leaders and foster connections across Ontario’s life sciences sector, utilizing creative strategies and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute LSO’s annual business development plan • Build and manage a pipeline for membership and sponsorship • Lead complete business development cycles from prospecting to renewal • Identify recent markets and strategic collaborations • Strengthen LSO's value proposition and expand outreach
Requirements: • 5+ years in business development, sales, or membership growth • Proven track record in building relationships and achieving targets • Robust communication skills for proposals and presentations • Proficiency with CRM systems and data reporting • Understanding of IDEA principles and inclusive practices
