You will report to the Pharmacy Manager, ensuring secure and ethical patient care. Your responsibilities include compounding, dispensing medications, and working with inventory control and automation systems. You will also assist in chemotherapy preparation and maintain patient safety standards throughout your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
• Compounding sterile and non-sterile dosage forms
• Manage inventory control and medication reconciliation




• Support quality programs and patient safety initiatives
• Distribute narcotics and prepare chemotherapy doses
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program
• Licensure and registration in Nova Scotia required
• Experience in hospital settings is preferred
• Basic Life Support certification needed
• Solid communication and decision-making skills
