FOREST NURSERY WORKER, LIFT

We are currently seeking to fill an existing vacancy on our team. PRT Summit is looking for seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to help with our upcoming tree seedling harvest. If you want a physical, fast‑paced outdoor job that makes a positive environmental impact, this is for you! You'll be lifting tree seedlings for reforestation across North America. No specific work experience is needed – we’ll provide full training.

Responsibilities
Lifting tree seedlings in greenhouses.
Learning about forest nursery activities.
Working independently and efficiently.
Committing to quality and safety in a protected work workplace.

Qualifications
Reliable transportation to the PRT Summit site daily.
Interested in and able to work in all types of outdoor environmental conditions.




Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout an 8‑hour work shift.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly through the entire shift.
Appropriate work attire.
Valuable manual dexterity and eyesight.
A team‑oriented personality with a positive attitude.
A desire to learn and contribute to forest regeneration.

Start Date

Aiming for week of July 6th, 2026.

Compensation

Hourly rate of $18.54 with transitioning to piecework with greater earning potential.
