About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Business Unit Head for Vaccines to lead its largest business unit in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the long-term vision and strategy for the business, ensuring the delivery of the portfolio's P&L; performance, and leading a team to execute commercialization strategies. This role requires a strategic, commercial operating executive with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, particularly in the vaccines sector. The VP, BUH will be a key member of the Canada Leadership Team,



driving the strategic and operational focus for the company, and must be adept at managing scale and complexity, with a solid commitment to ethical standards.

Applicants for this critical role at the company should have a BA/BSc degree, with a minimum of 10 years' commercial experience in vaccines, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare, and a background in leading large-scale commercial teams. The role demands a leader who is ambitious for patients, obsessively externally focused, and accountable for impact, with a solid ability to influence change at the enterprise level. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred, along with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, experience in market access, pricing, and tender processes, and fluency in English. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to attract and retain top talent, lead through periods of change, and ensure the business unit operates in line with the company's cultural pillars, including a focus on inclusion.
