Lead the design of cutting-edge cooling technology as a Mechanical Engineer at CoolIT Systems, based in Calgary, Alberta. This position involves designing Coolant Distribution Units with a focus on enhancing performance and efficiency.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of product development, from initial concept to mass production. Candidates should possess a solid foundation in mechanical engineering and experience with CAD tools to execute creative product designs. Your contributions will directly impact product quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop cutting-edge designs for Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs)
• Conduct feasibility analysis and prototype testing for improvements
• Ensure designs meet market demands while collaborating with various stakeholders
• Utilize thermodynamics and fluid mechanics principles in detailed designs
• Prepare engineering documentation including reports and design reviews
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• EIT registration or eligibility preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods and fluid dynamics
• Solid design simulation skills including CFD
