Savaria employs 2,500 valued associates globally and has 11+ manufacturing facilities to reach markets in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.Position Summary As a Product Manager at Savaria, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality, managing lifecycle improvements, and driving collaboration between R&D, production, sales, customer service, and technical support. You will be the go-to expert for a designated set of products and act as a liaison across internal teams to champion continuous improvement, manage custom orders, and support product launches across Savaria's suite of accessibility and mobility solutions.Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related quality issues; identify trends and coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actionsTrack, log, and manage product improvements and field issues using Smartsheet or other internal toolsCollaborate with R&D to support and oversee product launches from concept to marketLiaise with various operations across all Savaria-owned facilities to align on quality control and inventory optimizationRecommend design and process enhancements based on internal performance data and customer feedbackManage and review custom order requests to ensure feasibility and compliance with product standardsWork closely with Sales, Engineering, Technical Support,



Production, and Customer Service to ensure consistent product performance and satisfactionMaintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications, improvements, and field applicationsContribute to the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process when applicableWork directly with shopfloor staff to identify root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions; provide on-the-job training as neededSupport design reviews and product development using CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCADCreate, validate, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure product accuracy and alignment with production capabilities, particularly in terms of proper allocation and consumptionMindset, Skills & Education Post-secondary education in Engineering, Product Management, or related technical disciplinePassionate about product quality and customer experienceStrong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skillsExperience in product lifecycle management, preferably in manufacturing or accessibility productsProactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindsetProficient in tools such as Smartsheet, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP, D365, etc.)Hands-on experience with CAD tools, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD3+ years of experience in product management, engineering support, or quality assuranceThis is an excellent prospect for an ambitious, career-oriented individual desirous of being part of a large, evolving, and successful global organization with the ability to impact future success.
