Role is located in Downtown Toronto on a hydrid basis!Contract role pays: 80-95$hrHours per week: 40hrs/ weekKey ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Full Stack Developer is responsible for DevOps and the delivery of core Java, Scala and web services and applications.Work collaboratively with the team and stakeholders to proactively gather requirements, plan, develop, and deploy new features, enhancements,



and bug fixes to production.Participate in production support and release preparation as part of a rota.Support the migration of applications to proximity data centres.Collaborate closely with colleagues in New York, London, and China to ensure seamless integration and functionality.Required Skills & QualificationsAt least 5 years of experience working as a Java developer at a senior levelExperience in agile development and methodologyA fast learner, a team player and adaptable to change.Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)Preferred QualificationsSome experience working with React and JavaScript for UI changes.Proficiency in Scala.Experienced with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and deployments.Prior experience in a front office trading setting.#J-18808-Ljbffr
