Program Manager $115 - $125k CA Toronto, Ontario, Canada - relocation assistance available Bell & Associates has been engaged to help our client find their next Program Manager. The role of Program Manager will be responsible for always maintaining an excellent relationship with Customers, with focus on proactivity, responsiveness and trust. The program manager is responsible for on time / on quality delivery, and for overall aspects of the Program Performance, Configuration and Cost Management, Demand Management, Financial targets and Performance, Risk management. Responsibilities Act as Customer first point of contact on all program related matters, including Program Planning, Scope Changes, Reporting, Risk Mitigation, Commercial Negotiations, Engineering Issues, Change management. Develop and maintain integrated milestone charts and risk mitigation plans. Review program performance against planned objectives. Lead and coordinate integrated program team on understanding program roles and responsibilities ensuring Engineering, Quality, Planning and Estimating work as a team to deliver on organizational goals. Constantly monitor program progress, ensuring program tasks and activities are completed in accordance with schedules and define and implement corrective action as necessary. Identify, manage and periodically review risks (industrial and geopolitical) and develop plans to avoid/mitigate program impact, until completion. Chair recurring program review meetings with the ultimate result being Customer satisfaction with Company performance, 100% on time delivery, adherence to meeting internal cost objectives, identifying, and coordinating implementation of cost savings initiatives. Provide program visibility status and issues to senior management via management reviews and reports. Manage NPI program budgets and forecast performance for all programs against financial targets. Responsible for the RFQ process and Contract Negotiations. Maximize the Company's performance throughout the program's life cycle.



Ensure programs comply with AS9100, customer, specific quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or MSc, university preferred majors include mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent experience in the industry, preferably in aerospace industry. MBA or Project Management Professional (PMP Professional) is an asset. Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt an asset. 5+ years in Aerospace Manufacturing industry in a Program Management role Strong knowledge of build-to-print manufacturing processes, including machining, special processes, and assembly. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines and effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressure. Solid organizational skills, detail oriented, diligent, thorough, accurate and professional as needed in a business support role. Business savvy Strong customer support skills and demonstrated experience collaborating with senior customer management. Excellent influencing skills and the ability to drive actions to closure by seeing problems through to completion with a high emphasis on problem ownership. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, communication and listening skills – demonstrative ability to relay information in a clear and concise manner. Work safely, adhering to Health and Safety policy as well as maintain a high level of 5S for a clean and safe work environment.
